Getting around
The Glen Ellyn station on Metra’s Union Pacific West line runs to Ogilvie Transportation Center in Chicago. Roosevelt Road and Interstate 355 are the main driving routes. Inbound weekday trains take about 53 minutes to Ogilvie, and the fastest express makes it in 37. (Metra weekday schedule, October 2026.)
Schools
Much of Glen Ellyn is served by Glen Ellyn School District 41 and by Glenbard West High School in District 87. Parts of the village fall into other districts, so Walker confirms the schools for each specific address.
